Our Story
A working relationship forged in public defense—and brought home to Whidbey Island.
Craig Platt and Mimi Buescher first worked together in the Seattle public-defense community during the 1980s. Their careers later took them to Saipan, where Craig served as Chief Prosecutor and Mimi handled appellate work before moving into civil trial practice.
They returned to Washington and established the firm in Coupeville in 1990. Brent Thompson joined while still in law school in 2010, developed his entire legal career with the firm and later became a named partner.
