Contact-Form Acknowledgment

Please review this acknowledgment before sending information through the firm’s website contact or consultation form.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Purpose of This Acknowledgment

This acknowledgment applies when you submit information through the firm’s website contact or consultation form. It explains what the submission does—and does not—mean.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship, does not guarantee that the firm will respond and does not mean that the firm has agreed to represent you. Representation begins only after the firm agrees to accept the matter and the required engagement arrangements are completed.

Do Not Use the Form for Emergencies or Deadlines

Do not use the form for an emergency, an imminent hearing, an arrest in progress, a filing deadline, a statute of limitation or any matter requiring immediate action. The form is not monitored continuously. You remain responsible for protecting your rights and deadlines unless the firm has expressly agreed to represent you.

Limit the Information You Submit

Provide only the information reasonably necessary for an initial review, such as the general type of matter, the court or county involved, relevant names for a conflict check and any known deadline.

Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, privileged or unnecessary personal information. In particular, do not include full Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, passwords, complete medical records, intimate photographs or original documents unless the firm specifically requests them through an appropriate method.

Confidentiality and Prospective-Client Information

Submitting information through this website requests only an initial consultation. It does not create an attorney-client relationship, does not obligate the firm to represent you and does not automatically make every communication attorney-client privileged. The firm will handle information in accordance with applicable law and professional obligations.

Because the firm may already represent, or later be asked to represent, another person whose interests are adverse to yours, the initial consultation is conditioned on your informed consent that information you provide through the website form or during the initial consultation will not, by itself, prohibit Platt, Thompson & Buescher, PLLC or its lawyers from representing a different client in the matter. This condition concerns potential disqualification from representation; it does not authorize the firm to use or disclose your information except as permitted by law and applicable professional obligations.

You are not required to agree to this condition. You may instead choose not to submit the form and may contact another lawyer. If you proceed, provide only the limited information reasonably necessary for the firm to evaluate the general nature of the inquiry and potential conflicts.

Conflict Review and Follow-Up

The firm may use the information submitted to conduct an initial conflict review, determine whether the matter is within the firm’s practice and decide whether further communication is appropriate. The firm may contact you using the telephone number or email address provided.

Electronic Communications

Website forms, ordinary email and telephone messages may not be completely secure. If the firm needs additional sensitive information, it may provide a different method for transmitting it.

Privacy

Information submitted through the form is handled under the firm’s Privacy Policy and, when applicable, its Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Acknowledgment

Before the form can be submitted, you must affirmatively check the required acknowledgment confirming that you have read and understood this page, that submission does not create an attorney-client relationship, and that you give the informed consent described above concerning potential conflicts and disqualification.
