Purpose of This Disclaimer
This page applies to representative-case descriptions, case results, client reviews, testimonials, quotations and similar content published on the firm’s website or other firm-controlled communications.
Past Results Do Not Guarantee Future Outcomes
Every legal matter depends on its own facts, evidence, law, procedural history, parties, witnesses, decision-makers and other circumstances. A result obtained in one matter does not predict or guarantee the result of another matter, even when the matters appear similar.
Representative Cases and Results
Representative cases are selected examples intended to illustrate the kinds of matters the firm has handled. They are summaries, not complete case files, legal opinions or promises of future performance.
Case descriptions may omit or generalize names, dates, locations, procedural details and other identifying or confidential information. A summary may not include every claim, defense, ruling, negotiation, risk or factor that affected the outcome.
No Comparison or Guarantee
A case result should not be understood as a claim that the firm is better than another lawyer or law firm, or that the same or a similar result can be obtained in another matter. The significance of any result can be evaluated only in light of the specific factual and legal circumstances.
Testimonials and Reviews
Testimonials and reviews reflect the individual experience, perspective and opinion of the person who provided them. They are not representative of every client’s experience and do not guarantee a particular outcome, level of satisfaction or result.
A testimonial may discuss communication, professionalism or a person’s experience with the firm, but it should not be interpreted as an objective assessment of legal skill or a prediction about another matter.
Privacy and Permission
The firm seeks to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Identifying information is not published without an appropriate basis and permission when required. The firm may decline to publish details even when a client is willing to provide them.
